PFAS labeling law updates for Connecticut
Beginning July 1, 2026, Connecticut requires that certain types of products containing intentionally added per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) be labeled. Textile-related products include apparel, carpets and rugs, fabric treatments, juvenile products, textile furnishings, and upholstered furniture. According to the order, acceptable label phrasing includes: “‘Contains PFAS,’ ‘Made with PFAS,’ ‘Made with PFAS chemicals,’ ‘Made with [...]
