Honored Life Member status for Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) is designed for individuals who have shown a commitment to the association.

Honored Life Membership is bestowed by special request only, and at the discretion of the IFAI Board of Directors to candidates based on the following criteria:

• Meritorious or outstanding work accomplished for the association; and/or
• Exceptional accomplishments or extraordinary achievement while serving as an officer of the association.

Congratulations to Katie Bradford, MFC, IFM, owner of Custom Marine Canvas in Noank, CT! Katie has been given the coveted title of Honored Life Member of IFAI at the recommendation of Kevin Yonce, MFC, IFM, CPP, who recognized her for many reasons, including:

• Her service on the IFAI Board of Directors from 1997–2003 and then again from 2012–2019. During her second term, she was eventually elected to the position of 1st Vice Chairman/Chairman Elect, making her the first woman to be elected Chairman of the Association in its 105 year history.

Katie also served as chairman of the Marine Fabricators Association (MFA) and has conducted numerous training sessions for both IFAI and MFA. She has been a judge for IFAI’s International Achievement Awards and the Professional Certification program.
